Vice President IT Innovation Center (f/m)
Are you willing to take leadership to define and drive execution of an overall strategic innovation approach of a truly global firm?
Your Responsibilities
- Build and lead an IT Innovation organization (software and products) on a global level (globally distributed team of more than 100 staff members)
- Act as a trusted advisor, main contact and consultant to key customers, top management and key stakeholders internally and externally
- Develop the way of working (e.g. scrum, fail-fast) and apply strategies for skill & resource management
- Act as the integral element of a new end-to-end value creation in a global firm
- Staff and lead innovation projects according to prioritization done
- Communicate and market your innovation projects and results internally and externally
Your Profile
- University degree, ideally in one of the following fields: business administration, business information systems, technology, economics or similar qualification
- Comprehensive expert knowledge with more than 10 years of leadership experience in software development or product development
- Strong leadership skills and successful track record in building and developing high performing teams
- Ability to lead teams of 100+ employees globally
- Strong drive for execution, ability to involve and align highly independent decision makers
- Intercultural skills through and/or international project work track record
- Strong track record working in virtual settings across globally distributed teams combined with an agile & collaborative leadership style
- Results-driven and pragmatic
- Fluent English and fluent German is mandatory for this role
- The position requires frequent international travels (> 25%)
